Robin DeVos opened the first Cookin' Up A Storm in Jackson, Mississippi in the summer of 2010. It was created out of her personal passion for food and cooking. Years ago, when she worked in a stressful career, she would lose herself in the selection and preparation of difficult recipes as a form of stress relief. It was not long before she realized that her gift for cooking was just that, a gift she wanted to share with others. Robin is a self-taught chef who feels fortunate to do what she loves everyday. She enjoys helping her customers by preparing fresh, delicious take-out casseroles and other ready to-go items. Cookin' Up A Storm is named in part for her son, Storm.
Cookin' Up A Storm's second location in downtown Decatur, Georgia opened in the summer of 2016.
"Do one thing and do it well"
